Woden Valley Early Learning Centre is an approved Service and is responsible for administering CCS on behalf of the Australian Government. Eligible families will receive their Australian Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) entitlement as reduced fees on invoices.

The Parent Committee has an overall objective of ensuring the effective and efficient management of our Centre as a professional enterprise reflecting the high standard of care and education. The Centre operates on a non-profit, self-supporting basis with all operating costs met through fee revenue.

Families are responsible to ensure that their fees are paid in accordance with the policy.

Parents are provided with a weekly invoice detailing the claims that have been processed, listing the CCS received and the amount the parent/guardian needs to pay for each child in care. At the time of initial contact, families are provided with the current fee schedule.

Daily Fee - $132

Weekly Fee (5 days per week, 10h per day) - $650

Bond - $550

What is the CCS (Child Care Subsidy)?

The Child Care Subsidy, or CCS is an Australian Government initiative to assist you with the cost of child care.

You can find out more about the CCS and your eligibility here. The CCS is managed by Centrelink and it may be worth going into your local Centrelink office for advice or assistance.

It is always worth enquiring into your eligibility for the CCS. The amount you are eligible for depends on your family’s income, the type of childcare you enrol in and any other recognised activities such as volunteering, study, unpaid work, self-employment and even looking for work activities.

Once your child has been successfully enrolled, the CCS amount for which you are eligible will be automatically deducted from your fees. Therefore, the amount you will be invoiced for in your fortnightly statements will be the remaining difference in your fees.
