A DRAGON ADVENTURE

This vlog shows how intentional teaching can be incorporated in a relatively simple but fun way.

As a part of our school holiday program, we decided to give our regular nature walks a theme - a DRAGON ADVENTURE.

We walked the same track we always walk but created some extra interests along the way. Magic wands, looking for Dragons, searching for coins and ‘picking’ a scroll from a magic tree were all ways for children to NOTICE and DISCOVER as well as ROLE PLAY as a GROUP, not forgetting the wonderful use of LANGUAGE and CONVERSATIONS between the children and educators. It demonstrates another way of using our ‘Green Space’ to the fullest.
